We’re kicking off our efforts with a Super Tuesday Watch Party. Join us on zoom from 8 to 9 pm on March 5th. We’ll be joined by Middlebury College Professor of Political Science Bert Johnson. He will provide us with insights into how to think about the 2024 election. We’ll also share our plans for this year’s 3 Flipping Things efforts, and provide time for conversation and questions.
Bert Johnson has taught U.S. politics at Middlebury since 2004, when John Kerry and George W. Bush faced off in the presidential race. His research interests include campaign finance as well as state and local politics, and he is author of a recent book chapter on the history and development of the Vermont Progressive Party. A current project focuses on how COVID restrictions altered campaign fundraising patterns during the 2020 campaign cycle.
